Bad Food (Britain)

Do you think going into a butchers shop is delightful or revolting?

I just discovered an article in the Daily Mail, which points out in a fun and interesting manner the irony of enjoying food but being out of touch, at best, or disgusted, at worst, of its origins. It even takes up the debate about the treatment of ducks and geese for making foie gras. Having grown up in the US and Norway, I feel I can testify that many (at least city-dwellers) from these countries share this contradictory view of food.

If you like the article, you can get the book Bad Food Britain by Joanna Blythman.

Just a note about Sarrazac, we are still sorting out some details with our suppliers, but samples have started coming in and real shipments will not be far behind. Our webshop will also be in testing fairly soon, more updates about this as things come along.
