A Tale of Two Events

OK, so it's hard to find clever Blog entry-titles. Somewhat influenced here, unfortunately, on Garfield's latest paraphrasing of Dickens. Anyway...

The good news is that Sarrazac is now set up to appear at two big events in the French community this fall! The first is on August 31, when the trade division of the French embassy is hosting a small fair for wines from the South-West. And what would be more suitable with wine from Bergerac, Cahors, Gaillac, Jurançon and Buzet than a bit of goose confit, some stuffed duck neck, and a touch of foie gras? Sarrazac will be present with a stand displaying our selection of condiments (oils, vinegars, mustards, and fruit preserves), as well as co-hosting a workshop for wine and food matching, where we will serves some of our food, hot and cold, to be matched with several different wines. The whole things takes place at Gamle Losjen, 15.00-18.00 on 31 August. Sarrazac will be inviting its contacts and customers, so contact me for an invitation.

Sarrazac will then later be holding a lunch-time tasting at the French-Norwegian Day, hosted by the French-Norwegian chamber of commerce, CCFN. We will be handing out samples of pretty much everything, again at Gamle Losjen, on October 13. This is also by invitation but contact me again to get on the invite list.
